Corn corn corn

Good grief, I don't think I've ever seen so much corn for one person, ever! My dad's ol' buddy Bob Holt (very wealthy), told my dad he could go out to his corn field and get as much cord as he wanted. See, Bob is starting a dairy and planted a TON of feedin' corn for the cows, but in the very middle he planted some eatin' corn for him and his help. There was a ton there, and we helped ourselves. It was getting to the point that if it didn't get picked now, it was gonna get too old. So, Wednesday we went out and picked a bunch of corn. We spent all evening shuckin' it, then cookin' it, then.......I don't know what it's actually called, but we took it off the cob, then put it in freezer bags and put it in the freezer. I think we did about 60 quart sized bags FULL! Then out of nowhere my dad called me on Friday and asked if I'd come help do corn again, they went out and picked MORE, as if we didn't get enough the first time. I didn't do any for me yet though, so maybe Monday I can talk my dad into taking me out there again :o) I LOVE freshly frozen corn, YUMMY! I won't make anyone help me though. I'm picky, so I'll do it myself. Besides that, I think Cole is all the help I need. He was having a hay day helping us, and eating all the corn we left on the cob.
